THE LAGOS BLUE LINE RAIL (TRIP TO MARINA) AND A POSSIBLE BUSINESS IDEA.

  A LITTLE HISTORY The Blue Line rail system was proposed in 1983 during the administration of the former Governor of Lagos State, Late Alhaji Lateef Jakande. The rail network was flagged off 20 years later during the administration of Bola Tinubu in 2003. The rail network was constructed by LAMATA and executed by China Civil Engineering Construction Company TICKET OFFICE MILE 2 STATION The Lagos Blue Line Rail is a 27km mass transit line that runs through Marina, Iganmu, Mile 2,and  Alaba,  in Lagos State, Nigeria. The first phase of the project has been completed with 13km of rail tracks laid and five stations built  The first phase of the rail service began operations on September 4th, 2023, and is expected to transport 250,000 passengers daily  The full line is set to be 27 kilometers long and is expected to carry 500,000 passengers daily.
